The Kruger National Park in South Africa is one of the largest protected areas in the World. Being over 350km from north to south and an average of 60km from east to west, it covers over 21000km2 and hosts over 507 bird species, 147 mammal species, 114 reptile species, 49 fish species, 34 amphibian species, 227 butterfly species, 336 tree species and over 2000 plant species. The Park is home to the famous Big Five; Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Rhino and Buffalo.
This Travel Bug has toured the Kruger National Park on more than one occassion and several other Parks in South Africa but now wants to go elsewhere.
