Bubo just wants to cache and travel and stay safe... can we help her?
A simple mission for this little Owl. She loves to meet everyone, but can get a little afraid when meeting dogs and cats...
Although she is far away from her birthplace, she seems happy to be a travel bug, and who knows she may get to meet some of her cousins one day. Perhaps you could add a photo of bubo to her log and we can all follow the adventures.
If taken to events please ensure she is logged both in and out correctly as several bugs have gone to meets and then have simply vanished, thanks.
Bubo is a Snowy owl,[ Bubo Scandiacus].
Snowy Owls live and breed in the Arctic tundra region, or as we know it the North Pole. They can also be found in Greenland, Iceland, Canada and parts of N America.
They have freaky big eyes, that will haunt you for ever and are known as the 'musicians' of the night!
They are known to be courageous, quick and very loyal.
This little Owl, Bubo seems to be nothing of these as she is only a baby. She still has her baby plumage of a pretty grey, but her yellow tufts of new feathers and starting to grow. she has amazing large bright yellow eyes too!
Please keep her safe and keep her on the move. She starts her caching life in a small plastic bag to keep her clean, enjoy WW.
