The Hattifnatt want to visit as many islands as possible, preferably during thunderstorms, to collect energy for his upcoming travels.

Hattifnattarna är utpräglade gruppindivider.
De kan varken prata eller höra, men har extremt bra syn. Det enda de bryr sig om är att ge sig iväg till horisonten. Men när de kommer dit märker de att det alltid finns en ny horisont. Det är kanske det som ger dem deras flackande blick. Hattifnattarna kommer ur frön som måste sås på midsommarafton. De är helt ofarliga, men blir starkt elektriska vid åskväder och bör då undvikas.

The Hattifnatters can not be seen one by one.
They are wandering group-beings who care about nothing else but reaching the horizon. The Hattifnatters can neither speak nor hear, but can see extremely well. They are breeded from seed that can only be sown during midsummer eve. They are decent enough in their way, but during thunderstorms they turn electric and should be avoided.
