About This Item

Go And Get 'Em geocaching events are held in Ottawa, Canada about every six months. Organized by Tick & Nammie, they regularly attract geocachers from Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec for 24 hours of geocaching followed by dinner at a local restaurant. Participants are encouraged, but not required, to place event-specific caches that are not published until the day before the event.

Retrieve, lost, then retrieve again. What do I mean?

I went to the cache, grabbed the coin, which was in its plastic bag, was holding the plastic bag on my way back to my car, then, surprise! No coin in the bag!

I quickly realised there was a huge hole in the plastic bag and obviously the coin just dropped while I was walking.

I searched for it for 20 minutes, was about to quit and then? Bingo! Found it, in the grass and blueberry plants.

I placed the coin and the note in a new ziploc plastic bag. I will drop it in another cache very soon.
