Current Goal

The goal of this travel bug is to travel
to the many wonders of the world.
My husband and I went to The Grand Canyon
for our honeymoon and were awed by its vast
size and beauty.
We would like our coin to travel there
and to the many other wonders of the world.
The wonders of the world is an ever evolving
list and some of the ancient wonders
do not exist anymore so please help move
this coin towards some of the new wonders
(and you may know of one that has not made
an official list).
Pictures are always a bonus so if you
are one of the people who are fortunate
enough to be able to visit a place
of awe and can add a picture to the profile,
please do.
Add coordinates to your log if it is not
a well known location so others can visit it too!
Thanks for moving our coin along and letting us
live vicariously through it.

We won this coin at the Texas Drive Park
meet and greet in August of 2006
and would like to thank the people who
put on that event.

    On the road again.

    I have placed this TB in one of the most beautifull area's of Holland. A place it is only allowed to go by bike, electric bike or walking. It's a National Park, no cars and it is property of the Water Supplying Company of the north-west part of Holland (called the PWN). The special sandy earth-layers are used in the filtration and storage of the drink-water.

    Hi there,

    I was for business in Öhringen Germany. Normally we stay in "the company Hotel" Rose (Blitzfeld) but this time I had to stay in Neuenstein. In the evening I had "grabbed" some spots (WiFi) and I went for a walk in the dark. Petzl Headligt, Maglite and some
    TB's from Holland in the pockets of my jack.
    Unluckilly I had forgotten the TB's (left on my hotel-room) and de descriptions of the caches.
    The walking in the dark was some experience. The small roads were no problem but the main roads (Bundestrasse) I was a surpise for the drivers. The German's don't expect people walking on these kind of roads and in the darkness of wintertime.
