Current Goal

To travel West to Arizona and end up in "Bronco" GC2JDW9. Bronco does not exist anymore. I would love to have "History of B-47" end up in Tucson AZ around the Boneyard somewhere.

B-47 Engine data plate found at the Tucson AZ Boneyard officially named AMARG 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group

 

The Boeing Model 450 B-47 Stratojet was a long-range, six-engine, jet-powered strategic bomber designed to fly at high subsonic speeds and at high altitudes to avoid enemy interception. The B-47's mission was primarily to drop nuclear bombs on the Soviet Union. With its engines carried in pods under the swept wing, the B-47 was a major innovation in post-World War II combat jet design, and helped lead to modern jet airliners.

Not where we picked it up from. We found it in a cache in Campbellton on Myers Island. We will be passing it along to someone going to Geowoodstock. Hopefully it can get to Arizona from there.
