GC #866.
Came out here from Orlando for a meeting nearby. Had to avenge my DNF.
I attempted getting the FTF on this 9 months ago but had no luck. I had found an animal skull and propped it up near where my phone showed GZ. Little did I know, that was about a foot and a damn half from the cache. I even crawled around at this exact spot. Wah wah wah. Ok...I'm over it.

I actually came for the other cache behind this church...but my efforts were thwarted by several inches of water and a lack of galoshes. I wasn't sure I'd want to go for this one either because I heard running water as I entered the treeline. Turned out to be a little baby waterfall! But luckily the ground wasn't completely saturated. I found the container about 30 feet away from where my phone showed ground zero. I moved it to where the hint indicated it should be.

Glad I can count on a good ole trusty ammunition canister to withstand a hurricane.
Scooping: Big Blue #2 (TB6BVB4)...the caterpillar metamorphosed into a lizard. I'll get this to a more frequented TB hotel.
Dipping: Florida Finders Fest 10 DupleBug (TB6PNR2).

Actually grabbed this fella from a cache in Juneau, Alaska. Will dip it for mileage and move it along.

Place Big Blue #2 here when Moinkman and I were on an Alaska cruise. Couldn't log it until today (August 20). Someone has already picked it up to take it on its way. Love it when the TBs go far.

Retrieve It from a Cache 8/9/2017 moink retrieved it from PSE: Western Washington Fruit Research Foundation Washington   Visit Log

Alas, the Blue Caterpillar crawled off somewhere along its journey and is no longer part of the TB. I looked through my stash and found a Blue Lizard as a compromise. Blue #2 will be placed in a new home soon.
