Menehune Coconut: Staying at Aulani and dropped the kiddo off at Aunty's Beach House so my hubby and I could go for a walk along the beach and grab this cache. My coords were off but the hint helped get me closer. It still took awhile to find but I never had to step off the grass.

Patience: Boy that was tough. Looked on the way up to the peak. If I had found it initially, this would have been my 900th find. Instead it is number 901. Actually found this yesterday on the way back down but since it was my birthday and I was doing lots of other fun stuff, I forgot to log them. Logging today. (6/21)

Leahi Peak-Diamond Head: Found this yesterday (6/20) on my birthday but had such a wonderful time, I forgot to log it. We started out early and hiked to the peak. It took awhile to find and I was getting discouraged. I looked at the hint. I looked at past logs. I looked at pictures but couldn't find it for the life of me. Then one stood out. I went back to carefully search and found it...without getting poked! Yay! This was our first morning on Oahu, find # 900 AND it was my birthday! Woo hoo! Doesn't get better than that!

In 44's Footsteps-Ono Plate Lunch: arrived in Hawaii this afternoon and spent a couple of hours at the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor. We're staying in Waikiki and this restaurant was recommended to us back home. As we sat down to eat I wondered if there were any caches nearby. Aha! My first cache in Hawaii and a rainbow showed up as well. Too bad I missed getting a pic. Aloha from CA.
