This TB was first released at the UK Mega 2014 in Ayrshire, Scotland, August 2014
During the Autumn of 2013 and the Spring of 2014 I made two visits to Malawi in Africa with the Book Bus. This is a charity which sends volunteers to support and enrich reading and bring a love of books to countries where such resources are rare.
I spent a month as a project volunteer near Blantyre in Malawi then returned as a Project Developer, based mainly again in Malawi but also visiting another of our projects in Livingstone, Zambia. Some caching was done in both places although caches are few and far between in rural Africa!
Although I have now returned to the UK , I remain closely involved with the Book Bus Foundation as an advisor and ambassador. This travel bug is just a small way of spreading the news of the good work that we do in some of the poorest countries in the world: Zambia, Malawi, India, Ecuador and the Galapagas Islands.
