Current Goal

Bailey is our miniature schnauzer. She wants the bug to visit other miniature or toy dogs and get a picture with them. Standard dogs will be accepted, especially Labs.

About This Item

Bailey's Friend

This is/was one of Bailey's favorite toys. But I needed something for a travel bug. I swapped three "milkbones' for her toy.

I kept hoping that I could take Bailey's Friend's picture with Scrappy; but alas, I never could get over to Scrappys house and now Scrappy has gone to Canada for a month or so with his family. But then I remembered that Bailey's Friend wanted to meet miniature dogs and I thought of the tinest dog that I know, so I took Bailey's friend over to meet TIA!! Tia is a teacup chihuahua and is the smallest dog I have every seen. She barely weighs over a pound and is only about six inches tall and not much longer. Anyway, she loved Bailey's Friend; but refused to pose for a picture with him as she insisted that she is a solo act and the star of the show. Isn't she pretty? She thinks she is! I hope you enjoyed meeting her. Bailey's Friend said he had never such a small dog before and really enjoyed his visit. But then as we were talking, I happened to mention that I had a friend who was an old seadog! O boy, did Bailey's Friend get excited about the idea of a sea dog. He really, really wanted to meet one. So I took him down to the coast where is only about a quarter of a mile away from the WWII aircraft carrier, the LEXINGTON. Hopefully, he can meet a seadog there!

  • Tia, The Mighty Dog Tia wearing her favorite color, poses for her portrait!
  • The Lexington That's her in the background all lit up in blue for the night. A beatiful sight. The foreground building is the Texas State Acquarium. If you get to Corpus Christi, you won't be sorry if you take the time to visit both places.

I noticed Bailey's Friend had been lost in the woods for over two months with not a dog in sight to visit with him. So I thought he might like to go with me to visit my friend Scrappy for a photo op before we take him to a more accessible location so he can continue on his travels.
