To travel throughout the Rocky Mountains checking out Campgrounds, Trails, Parks, Museums, Wilderness areas and ALL THE GREAT CACHES that abound in this GREAT COLORADO PARK! - largest "park" in the world? Anything similar, anywhere you want to take me, would also be of interest.
A Gold colored version of this fantastic coin was the main door prize for the GCCO 2015 TB Race Event - Delta Colorado, Western Slope -GC5HR85. This particular coin was NOT available for sale and could only be won at a GCCO event, one only!
We, as hosts for the event, got to preview the coin and were absolutely jealeous, hoping to win it and/or "get it" by hook or crook due to the beauty of the coin. Well, one of our co-hosts, GEckOCAtCHER won the gold coin! BUT, she is THE TB person of the area and why we had her co-host in the first place. Not only that but she has a HUGE collection of geo-COINS! Not a better person to win the coin, but we knew there was no way we would talk her out of it. LUCKY FOR US, A&M Brooks was present and had a whole STASH of the silver edition of the coin left over from an event last year and they COULD be sold. She was more than willing to sell so we actually TRADED a Black Canyon of the Gunnison Coin for it and are now the lucky holder of this beautiful coin!
