Bob the Martian is a delightful fellow once you get to know him. His monotone voice is strange, and he looks a bit odd with his exposed brain and bulgy eyes, but looks aren't everything! Please keep his helmet attached to his suit, as he cannot breathe the air on Earth. He'd love to have his picture taken at different capitols throughout the country, to take back and show the folks on Mars!

It took Bob a while to get to know us. I think he was observing our earthling ways before announcing his presence to me in the middle of the night. "We come in peace" he growled in the pitch black kitchen nearly making me jump out of my skin.

He will be discussing his intergalactic peace agenda at show-and-tell this week and then will continue on his journey next weekend.
