This bug would like to visit the following locations:

  • Warsaw

  • Once completed, this bug would like to continue its journey around the rest of Poland collecting new and wonderful experiences.

  • I will be using the travels of this and other travel bugs in this series to share the world with my son as he grows up. Any stories or interesting trivia from the areas it has visited will be highly appreciated.

    When I was a kid I was lucky enough to have had the opportunity to travel all over the world. Someday, I hope to take my son to all the places I've been, so that I can share my love of travel and the beauty of foreign lands, languages, and cultures with him.

    In an attempt to revisit the places I have been, I am sending out my 'Nations of the World' series travel bugs. I have one flag travel bug for each country I have either lived in or visited. The mission of these travel bugs are to visit the parts of those countries that I have been and then to travel the rest of the country collecting new experiences along the way.

    Yet again, this winter (on the northern hemisphere), I were able to escape the freezing temperatures and traveled south to the summer in Namibia and Botswana 😎

    People ask if I haven’t visited every place and seen everything in Namibia and Botswana by now - as it is my 8th visit to Namibia and my 4th visit to Botswana!

    But no!, there are new places to explore and all places that need a re-visit (and still more geocaches that needs to be found) 🤓

    This year's trip started on the 21st of November, and will end on the 13th of January.

    Geocaching are an helpful navigation tool while traveling, it’s not the goal of the travel - more like inspiration 🤗

    21st of November - 22nd of November: Travel from Sandefjord-Oslo-Frankfurt-Windhoek.

    22nd of November - 25th of November: Staying in Windhoek.

    25th of November; leaving Windhoek and drive west towards the coast, staying overnight at Ameib Guest House near Usakos.

    26th of November; driving to Swakopmund and staying there until 29th of November - exploring a bit up the coast and into the desert.

    29th of November; driving back to Windhoek via Walvis Bay, C14, C26 and Gamsberg Pass.
