About This Item

This Travel Bug is in honor of one of the Minnesota Twins greatest pinch hitters, Chip Hale. He played from 1989 to 1996 with the Twins where he got 158 of his 159 hits. He had a brief stint with the Dodgers where he got one final hit before retiring. Chip Hale also had 7 home runs, 78 RBIs, 62 runs scored, 2 stolen bases and a career .277 hitter.

Chip Hale was one of the friendliest, most accessible players on the team. He was especially patient with kids, and my oldest son still wears his number (12) in his men's softball league. Hope to be able to grab this TB sometime.
