Current Goal

The mission of this travel bug is to go back and forth accross the U.S.A. as many times as possbile. Once it reaches a West Coast State cache(CA,WA,OR, or AK) it is then to head back to an East Coast State cache(NC,SC,FL,NY, etc.), then back and forth as long as people are willing to take 'em for a ride.

About This Item

The Malibu Express

One of my dreams has always been to drive across the country in a Sky-Blue 1981 Chevrolet Malibu, my first car. As I have a real job now and my Malibu is gone(sold it to a kid in Cleveland for $900), so I guess we'll have to do the next best thing: send an old set of keys I had for the car coast to coast. It will be a Sentimental Journey, if you will.

Feel free to take any photos with the keys along with way and I will post them here. Also, when you pick up the Bug, please leave a post-it note saying which direction it is going (East or west) so that if someone picks it up at a cache that hasn't checked this site, they know which direction(east/West)it needs to be heading.

We picked up the Malibu Express today at the Hollow Stump cache. We are headed east towards Columbus will drop it off there somewhere, unless we find a car that fits the keys, then who knows where we might end up,maybe a county jail. Thanks. DLiming and Crew
