Minoko 2011

Minoko was our feather kid for 15 years.  She was an Indian Ringneck.

She developed cancer and died within a month in June 2006.

Minoko will love living here for a while. This mine overlooks the beautifull Sonoma County California Redwoods. It is very near the famous Armstrong Woods State forest park where the tallest living thing lives. A 310 foot redwood tree can be seen from the mine. We have many pictures to share, but must return home to post. Good-bye Minoko! Enjoy the beautiful forest.

Minoka has been touring wine country. The beautiful Santa Barbara County in California. Santa Maria to be exact. And, Orcutt to be more precise. She is a beutiful bird and reminds me of my childhood friend. He used to sit on my shoulder and eat Wheaties with me every morning before I went to school. Well we will make sure this winged wonder flys on to see more of our Great State. (California). Maybe she will even see Arnold?
