Sometimes the best laid plans go astray or as Bobby Burns stated, "The best laid plans of mice and men oft gang aglie!" Sorry for the big delay in this TB's travels but it seemed important to have it visit this special Cache and at least spend a little time here!
Just checked and since you are in Wyoming, here is the story on the cache! The coords take you to the front of a VW Parts Supplier in East Portland, Oregon. The building has brick planters and steps up to a raised 'alcove' that has a sliding metal security gate for after hours 'containment'. All there is in the Alcove is the entry door to the establishment and a Pay Phone (Those are getting more rare all the time!). When you pick up the phone handpiece a voice tells you that the phone is no longer in service but if you know what to do, you will be rewarded with what you seek. There is a phone number buried in the info on the Cache Info Page and when you dial that number, a section of the bottom of the phone console drops down and there is the Cache! Pretty darn clever, I think.
