There are many hiking trails along the Jordan River and its watershed that are off limits to motorized vehicles. I have seen backpack campers and visitors also riding horseback within the Jordan River watershed.
-Approximately 125 square miles (100,000 acres), traversing from the rolling hills of its headwaters (elevation 1,190 feet) to the shores of Lake Charlevoix (elevation 590 feet). It contains over 94 linear miles of rivers and streams and the Jordan Valley State Forest (25,000 acres of undeveloped forest lands).
Perhaps shoefly will meet one of these riders, he might even be a GeoCacher!
