Current Goal

Originally, I sent out the proxy tag for this geocoin attached to a plucky little rubber ducky. He had a decent run and traveled 5600.5 miles before getting lost to the vagries of the cache gods. I really like the coin and will be bringing it to events for others to discover.

I dropped off this TB in a cache in another little Door County town. Happy travels, little duck.

The Moravian Cemetery is just up the hill from Wilson's Restaurant, an iconic stop on any Door county visit.

  • Shovel Duck at Wilson's Wilson's Restaurant, in Ephraim, Wisconsin, is a great place to stop for ice cream. Its red and white striped awnings make it an often photographed landmark.
  • Ephraim, Wisconsin Ephraim is on the Bay side of Door County, a peninsula that juts out into Lake Michigan on the eastern side of Wisconsin. I think it's one of the prettiest towns there. 

I just couldn't get the real duck to stay still for a photo with the TB. Darn.

This little duck has been spending some time in western Wisconsin. I'll be taking him to Door County, on the eastern side of the state, along Lake Michigan. There should be plenty of sand for his shovels there.
