About This Item

This is the final of four Flag of Freedom TBs dedicated to Leroy Homer. Leroy Homer was the copilot on flight 93 which was overtaken by hijackers on 11 September. The passengers and crew prevented this aircraft from being used as a terrorist weapon and paid the ultimate price for doing so. This travel bug is a small US flag that flew on several combat missions over Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
