This Travel Bug's goal is to Win the 2nd annual Cannonball Run starting in California and ending in New York. Please help it along it's way! You must hurry though... and please follow the rules that are posted below.

About This Item

The Cannonball Run 04 Roadracer II

Rules are simple:
Travel bugs are allowed to move only one state at a time, states must share a common border. Any bug that skips a state intentionally or not is required to backtrack to the last continuous state that it was in (not necessarily the same cache) and begin again from there. The same holds true for any bug leaving the country.


Bugs must be physically placed in a cache in each state visited (no virtuals or locationless). I will be randomly checking with cache owners to verify that bugs have been logged in the cache log books and not just on the cache page.


Any CannonBall Run TB Racer owner MAY NOT be in possession of any other racer except their own! This is deemed an automatic disqualification. However in the spirit of the original CannonBall Run, good natured interference is allowed, you MAY ask other cachers to either help your bug along or delay someone else's bug. Backtracking a bug or placing a bug in a seldom visited cache are examples of allowable interference.


First Racer to be logged in to the finishing cache in New York is the winner! (There will be other categories also) The Green Achers are the absolute judges of first arrival. Any dispute during the race will be settled by vote in the TravelBug Forum at Geocaching.com.
