PEPSI LOVERS TB

I picked up this little fun keychain in a geocache, and thought, THAT would make a neat TB! Have fun with this TB, and take/post pics of it's travels.

Although I'm not a die-hard Pepsi lover myself, anytime I see the Pepsi logo, it brings to mind a dear friend that I've lost touch with from college, (Roland) Marty Hodges. He HATED the name Roland, and I ALWAYS teased the hell out of him about it. He had a SEVERE addiction to Pepsi, and carried around a 2 liter bottle of it wherever he went. He is from Norfolk, VA, and he is one of the most Afro-American Caucasians I've EVER known. He is also hilariously funny!! You could've had the most tragic things happen to you (lets say you lost your whole family in some horrible feather-pillow accident), and he could ALWAYS manage to brighten your day and make you laugh and smile. Despite having a tough up-bringing, he was INCREDIBLY smart (his major was chemistry, and I beleive he graduated in 3 years). His Dad had a bad stroke our sophomore year, and he lost a lot of his mobility and speech. It was ONLY Marty who could care for his Dad, so Marty moved him into his dorm room with him (thank God VA TECH never found out about it), and took great care of him. Besides his roommate, I was the only person he trusted with this secret. Marty has a VERY big, warm heart as well. Marty taught me a great deal of how to relate/connect with ANYBODY, and this became one of my strengths as a Paramedic for many years. Last I heard, Marty was doing AIDS research in the Midwest, and he was determined to crack that virus wide open for a cure.

SO, Marty, if you're out there, here's to you buddy, and maybe someday, this TB will find you happy and healthy! Should you find this TB Marty, your old pal from VT (PN), is thinkin' about you and wishing you well.
