Current Goal

I’m trying to make it to Rubicon Springs to hitch a ride on the Rubicon Trail in the mountains of North Eastern California. Then after running the trail, make it home again before Team_Zigbot driving the Red Wrangler do. Take lots of pictures along the way.

Along with Moab, the Rubicon Trail is the place where folks go to do some serious 4-wheeling; and Team_Zigbot loves 4-wheeling and their goal is to make to Rubicon Springs and hitch a ride and run the Rubicon Trail.  The Rubicon Trail is not for the faint of heart.

    Found this guy but not where he was suppose to be. Found him a couple of caches farther down the road, still very close to the Rubicon Trail. Sorry our Jeep is at home so no ride for him today! We will move him along soon. Found in GC1T9CP - Tahoe Trailheads: Quail Creek Meadow Park. Thanks for the fun!

    We discovered this little jeep in the cache and decided to not move him. The Rubicon trail is just a stones throw away, hope someone gives him a ride.

    It's about as close as it's going to get to the Rubicon Trail here...it just needs a slightly LARGER Jeep to help continue it's journey.

    Was dropping off a TB and found the Jeep. Not a lot of logs for this cache so I took the Jeep and will move it along, altho I have no plans to do the Rubicon trail. May still be a little snowy back there now anyway.
