Current Goal

This UMass (University of Massachusetts) Keychain Pennant is on a mission to visit caches on or near as many universities and colleges as possible! The owner is currently pursuing a graduate degree at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in Industrial Engineering.

While all universities and colleges are welcome, the owner of the Travel Bug is a Purdue University alum, so Big Ten schools are high on this Travel Bug’s wish list! Once all Big Ten schools have been logged (I will mark them here as they have been visited), then this TB should continue visiting other universities and colleges far and wide … even overseas!

The Big Ten Schools: · Purdue University (the owner’s alma-mater) · Penn State University · Ohio State University · Indiana University · University of Michigan · Michigan State University · Northwestern University · University of Illinois · University of Wisconsin · University of Minnesota · University of Iowa

About This Item

Go! ... Go U! ... Go UMass! ... GO ... U ... MASS!

If this TB ends up in a cache on a college campus, please note it in the log. Also, please document your visit to the school with this travel bug by taking it into one of the “host” college’s on campus bookstores and snapping its picture with a pennant from that school (large or small) and post it here! Pictures of the pennant with school landmarks are also welcome! Happy hunting!

NOTE: Since posting the pic to the right, I've put the dog tag and supplemental tag on a shortened chain around the key ring. This makes it so the entire bug can lay flat. I figure that will help increase the number of smaller caches this bug can be tucked into. :-)

If you post pics for this bug, please either make sure the Tracking # cannot be read or is "edited out" (like in my pic). Thanks!
