This travelbug is part of a group of travelbugs that are trying to reach islands all over the world.

The Travelbug consist of a camera (wich counts back, so 10 means there are still 10 photo's left) a logbook and a mascotte. If you find this travelbug you can leave a log in the logbook. you can also make pictures of this travelbugs yourney, but please make sure they're not all gone before the goal is reached.

When the travelbug has reached it's destination, it wants to go back to the Netherlands, and go to "De Markenburger cache"

The Galápagos Islands (Spanish name: Archipiélago de Colón or Islas Galápagos) are an archipelago made up of 13 main volcanic islands, 6 smaller islands, and 107 rocks and islets. The very first island is thought to have formed between 5 and 10 million years ago, a result of tectonic activity. The youngest islands, Isabela and Fernandina, are still being formed, with the most recent volcanic eruption in 2005. The Galápagos archipelago is politically part of Ecuador, a country in northwestern South America. The islands are distributed around the equator, 965 kilometres (about 600 miles) west of Ecuador (recently found to have 3 volcanos in the center island, all of them active)(0° N 91° W). They are famed for their vast number of endemic species and the studies by Charles Darwin that led to his theory of evolution by natural selection.

Een TB met van alles en nog wat er aan die naar de Galapagos eilanden moet. Nou kom ik daar toevallig niet regelmatig :-) dus ik vrees dat ik hem weer in een Nederlandse cache zal moeten stoppen of hij moet wachten tot eind mei maar dan komt ie weer op het Iberisch schiereiland terecht :-)
Wel kan ik een foto maken op 2 voormalige eilanden hier in de polder.

Wat een bijzondere travelbug in een zeer bijzondere cache(locatie). We maakten een foto van de plek en namen hem mee omdat hij hier al maanden lag. We wilden hem niet meenemen naat Nederland, maar dat is toch gebeurt want alle caches die we daarna nog vonden op La Palma waren te klein.
Als de eigenaars bijzondere wensen hebben horen we dat graag anders herplaatsen we hem in Nederland.

Nou ja zeg, ben je op la palma 3000 km van huis kom je een tb tegen waarvan je de eigenaars persoonlijk kent (spikeypad, april 2006).
Hebben alleen even gekeken, een foto van ons gemaakt en weer in de cache gedaan.
