Current Goal

The mission of this travel bug is to see the great mountain ranges of America,and keep the memory of those gave everything to keep them free alive.He really wants to see the Rockies,the Sierra Nevadas,and the Cascades.After his sight seeing tour he'd like to come home to the Green Mountains in Vermont for his next assignment.

Bug Dropped at about 2,500ft. MSL near the western flank of Buckhorn Summit. Grass Creek courses through the gorge just below the cache site and the creek is really singing to-day. Recent winter storms have filled the creek with run-off and it is wonderful to see and hear. Carry On.

Grabbed from Patsu on the pastoral Arcata, Calif. Bottom Lands. Gorgeous sunny day in Humboldt County. The Aleutian Geese have been holding over in advance of their northward migration. I will move this item along to where Patsu intended for it to go last month, a foot of snow on the ground and lots more on the way soooooooo it seemed prudent to exit stage left. This item will be enroute to the east and will be deposited on the western slope of Buckhorn Summit.
