Dupond avec d

Finally find out which one of the Dupondt is the cleverest - or more likely the less scatterbrained. The cleverest will be the first to be photographed in Paris in front of the Eiffel Tower. He will however only be able to do so after having seen Berlin, Los Angeles, New-York, Rome and London (see below).

It is the story of a crazy bet that has just been made in Hamburg where the Dupondt have succeeded, without Tintin’s help this time (or Milou’s for that matter), to resolve their last enigma. Inspector Derrick, who invited them for a goodbye beer in a well-known cave of the city, was wondering which of the two famous detectives managed to discover this last mystery. The inspector quickly realised that none of the two would admit that the other had managed the impossible. In order to finally straighten things out, the Dupondt decided to throw each other a challenge and the winner will be the one to receive the praises.

The race consists in gaining a number of clues in different cities (London, New-York, Los Angeles, Rome and Berlin) and to arrive in Paris as soon as possible. To prove their passage in those cities, they have to be photographed:

• In London: in front of “Eros” in the Piccadilly Circus

• In New-York: at the entrance of Guggenheim Museum

• In Los Angeles: next to Nicole Kidman’s star- 6801 Hollywood Blvd- on the “Walk of Fame”

• In Rome: in front of the fountain of “Trévise”

• In Berlin: in front of Checkpoint Charlie.

The order of the cities has no importance but there will only be a winner when those 5 photos are presented in Paris, the place where the most brilliant Dupondt will be photographed in front of the Eiffel Tower. We will then finally know which of the two Dupondt to congratulate.

They will then return to Hamburg, where all this started. Help us discover which of these two bloodhounds is the thinking head and don’t hesitate to show us in the photos which one you supported during this unique adventure in the police’s history.

3.“Dupont avec t” is back. After a clever relay between “Der dicke Olli” und “NDR” and a nice push from “NDR”, “Dupont avec t” found in “Balla & Silly” a fantastic help. They visited “Checkpoint Charlie” together on June, 23 2007

4. "Dupond avec d" takes the lead. "Jkverm1962" and "Dupond avec d" visited the Guggenheim Museum in April 2009 while "Dupont avec t" is still sunbathing in Portugal"

5. "Ipnotaizig" and his friend did "Dupont avec t" a great favor and he was able to investigate at Piccadilly Circus in May 2009. He's now well on track

6. "Dupont avec t" hit the jackpot ! He was cocooned by NOR-FOLK Family - Thank you "ROSE-&-THISTLE" - , travelled with "NOR-FOLK" to New York and visited the Guggenheim Museum in Mai 2010. He definitely takes the lead ! ...... while "Dupond avec D" is enjoying wonderful Sweden

7. "Dupont avec t" did it again! Many thanks to "Buffaloed" who took him from Washington State all the way down the west coast. Upon their arrival in Los Angeles, they visited the "Walk of Fame" where the little one insisted  that his fellow traveler take a photo of him posing next to the beloved Nicole Kidman’s star. That was on July 10, 2011. Last we heard, the tiny crime fighter is bound for Europe for his final task before the consecration in city of Love, also none as Paris, or “Pa-Ree” as the locals like to say.
All is not lost for "Dupond avec d" just yet, but he should really shake a leg if he doesn’t want to see his cheeky little twin win this challenge. Maybe he is just trying to muddy the waters before kick starting it to a sudden final jolt to victory...
