    Begging Pup and I decided to stop by the blueberry patch during lunch. He was all for getting outside on a find October afternoon and the temperature was in the lower 80s, just right for an Atlanta October.
    Begging Pup jumped out of his bag and into a tree and started going after the blueberries. They looked a little over ripe to me, but he liked them.
    We found the cache with no difficulty. While I was posting a log, Begging Pup moved to another bush and I had to scold him to not run away.
    I placed him in the bush and re-hid the cache. As I bade farewell to Begging Pup, I shook his paw and got blueberry stains on my hands.

    • Mmmmmmm Blueberries! Begging Pup is not a hungry pup anymore. But blueberries can only last for so long with winter coming. Someone please come and get him and move him along on down the road. Begging Pup hears tell that there are oranges a few hundred miles to the south.

    I met Begging Pup in Elko Nevada at the Nevada History cache. There was a dog show going on at a nearby park and we walked around the park for a short bit looking at the other dogs.
    Begging Pup has enjoyed his visit to the desert, but when I mentioned that my next stop was New York and then to Atlanta, he became so excited that he started prancing around and almost won a prize for showmanship, but he was not an official entrant to the dog show, so the prize was given to another dog. Begging Pup is headed east. He will see the Appalachians next. They are very old and not as tall as the Rockies these days, but when they were young, they are said to have rivaled the Himalayas.

    Well, we went back to try to find Eggs again, but still couldn't find the final stage. So, we simply put Begging Pup in a brand new cache! We decided that this section of the lake needed another cache, and having Begging Pup, why not put him in there?

    We took Begging Pup today on a hike to a few caches, and found him in our first hit of the day. We tried to find "Eggs" Not So Easy today and put him in there, but couldn't find the cache. We might try for Eggs again tomorrow, or if not, we will put him in our cache, New York Creek Cache.
