Current Goal

My mission is to visit ALL California State Parks PLUS visit an Earthcache in Yosemite NP (originally CA state park).  I do NOT want to leave the state of California on my travels. It's too exciting just visiting our state parks! (Although my TB owner admits she took my 2nd iteration to Oregon to the original cache site...)

Replacement 150th Birthday TB

 In 2014 California State Parks celebrated their 150th birthday. Please keep this TB in California so that it can visit all of our state parks.  Please take pictures of the parks you visit with the bug.

The  bug is a 150th BD memorial lapel pin attached to a block of wood.

As of April 2018, California state parks  the bug has visited (in alpha order):

Angel Island, Anza Borrego, Big Basin, Butano, Castle Crags, Castle Rock , D.L. Bliss,  Forest of Niscene Marks, Henry Cowell Redwood, McLaughlin Eastshore (aka Eastshore State Park) , Montera State Beach/McNee Ranch, Samuel P Taylor, San Luis Reservoir SRA, Wilder Ranch, William B Ide Adobe State Historic Park
