To commemorate the first anniversary of my first logged geocache, I am releasing this travel bug into the wild. My first find is GC163YY, "Pelton Wheel (Fiordland)" on the South Island of New Zealand. Thus, this trackable's goal is find its way from California to New Zealand and then into the hands of LuckySteaks who live near Christchurch.
LuckySteaks were my geocaching mentors and the tokens with the trackable represent their interests: beer and cows. It is an odd combination on the face of it, since the cows in question are dairy cows and milk and beer don't really go together. But when you make your livings as a vet and a maltster, as LuckySteaks does, maybe it makes some sort of sense.
