The Panda bear which are native to south central China is easily recognized by the large black patches around it eyes, over its ears and across its round body. Panda's diet in the wild consists of 99% bamaboo.
This cute ornament reminded me of the Fabergé Eggs made in Russia between 1885 - 1917 for the Russian Tsars Alexander III and Nicholas II as Easter gifts for their wives and mother. The House of Fabergé made 50 of these eggs which only 43 still survive.
