In keeping with the spirit of the Librarians, our team theme, I asked for a Librarian action figure for the solstice holiday. The figure is based on a Ms. Nancy Pearl, a Librarian of note in the Washington State area. I have named my action figure Nancy after another Librarian, one with whom I used to work. My Nancy was a pretty good librarian but a thoroughly unlikable human being. I know she would be delighted to travel the country “shushing” people at every turn.
