  • Anchorage Visitors Center - Log Cabin The sod-roofed Anchorage Visitors Center is home to the 'Anchorage - Big Wild Life' geocache, placed by Central Middle School of Science students in 2007 as part of a project to highlight southcentral Alaska's visitor information centers with geocaches. This is Anchorage's 2nd most-favorited cache, and is easily accessible during daytime business hours 7 days a week. It's located on the block set aside during the town's founding for city offices, and is right in the center of downtown!
