Current Goal

Golden Bear would love to see as much of this country as possible. Moving him along his way from cache to cache would make him extremely happy. He is particularly fond of peanut butter and backpack treats! (Anyone out there familiar with "Bear Tunes for Kids" by Brent Holmes?)

I would like to make a science or social studies project out of Golden Bear's travels. My plan is to mark with pins and string on a U.S. map all the locations he has visited.

Our school mascot is the Golden Bear, although a tougher, more ferocious variety than this teddy bear!

I had the right bag today and found the perfect sized cache for this little guy. Up in the woods where every bear should visit. You know, like the old saying goes, "Is a bear Catholic? Does the Pope live in the woods?"

I really tried to drop this in a new place today. I looked through all my bags...my suitcase, my briefcase, my computer bag, my pockets. Where did I put it??? Oh well, I hope I find it when I get home.....I did. I placed it in the wrong bag before I left home. Now it will have to wait another week or so.
