- Travel to 21 countries in a year (between 28th of July 2006 and 28th of July, 2007)
- Obtain photographic evidence of being in 21 countries, each photo posted ASAP.
- Start by travelling to South-East Asia.
- Race against 21 RedRacer TB (same mission, starting in Europe) to get to 21 countries first.
- Return to Melbourne, Australia as soon as possible after 28th of July, or 21 countries (whichever comes first).
This travel bug is a 21st birthday present and the idea is that it should travel to at least 21 different countries whilst the birthday boy is still 21. In order to maximise the chances of it getting to 21 countries in a year, the 21 Beetle TB should first travel to South-East Asia. The 21 Beetle TB will also be competing against the 21 RedRacer TB, which has the same mission, but will be starting in Europe.
It is not necessary that the 21 Beetle TB should actually be placed in caches in all 21 countries (although this would be nice), but posts or photographic evidence of the TB being in each country is essential.
The 21 Beetle TB is a yellow taxi toy car beetle. It’s approximately 7.5cm long, 3cm wide and 2.5cm tall.
