NCC-519, USS Shaitan is a Saladin Class Destroyer. Mission Details I. Security patrol/policing and investigation of known Federation Space for 3 years, then return to Vulcan (GC18TH0) for resupply, refit and upgrades. II. Patrol and maintain the peace between member planets (traditional caches, small or larger) and their indigenous life forms in Quadrant 0 (USA), Sector 3 (Pacific and Western States), of minor planets (rural areas/small towns) in systems WA, OR, CA & AZ (in that order, out and back). III. Conduct this mission to accomplish primarily: (A) Earth/Federation security, via patrols of member systems, colonies and surroundings space for any threat to peace or commerce, and (B) Continue the scientific investigation to add the Earth’s body of knowledge of alien life forms and social systems, and (C) Any required assistance to the several Earth colonies and Federation planets in your quadrant, and the enforcement of appropriate statutes affecting such federated commerce vessels and traders as you may contact in the course of your mission.
