Current Goal

Take me. Read me. Learn something. Pass me on. I want to travel the USA, one state at a time...no big jumps like West to East. When log is full, email me and I will pay to return home. Success and peace to all. GeoCyborg - OPKS

It was a nice coincidence to pick up this book. It came from Kansas, and so did I. I was born in Ft. Leavenworth. I picked it up in Hood River, so now we're both in Oregon.

My favorite success quote in the book: "My secret to success? Rise early, work hard, strike oil." - J. Paul Getty.

My favorite success quote not in the book: "100 percent of the shots I don't take never go in." - Wayne Gretski

The book was inspirational to read, and it made a unique travel bug. Thanks for sharing it!

What a delightful idea for a TB! It doesn't have a couple of my favorite quotes though:

"If you have a headache, do what it says on the aspirin bottle: Take two, and keep away from children."

Or: "I believe you should live each day as if it were your last. That's why I have so much dirty laundry laying around. I mean, who wants to do laundry on their last day?!"

I'll enjoy its works of wisdom for a few days, and then pass it on. Thanks for sharing it!
