Sorry I forgot to take pictures of this darling little Chevy. I traded it for a Chicago School Bus and then moved it on its way to a new location by a large recreational park by Mark Twain Lake. It should have fun spinning its wheels on the back roads of northeast Missouri.

This is our 3rd TB. Will take pic of journey with our dogs, it was their 1st cache. Had to get them out of house for some fresh air and walk, so we took them with us on this find. Will post pic at a later time. Going to Texas within the next couple of weeks, will find a good cache to drop off at.

Found Journey the Truck at Lindsey's Wagon, which was our first geocache find. We'll find some good cars for Journey to see and take pictures before we send him on his way.

Updated 12/23/06 Instead of taking pictures of Journey with cars, we decided to take him back to his roots and let him hitch a ride on our horse, Hoyt. Journey will soon travel with us to Starkville for Christmas where we will release him to the next geocache. Good journey, Journey! It's been fun visiting with you.

Journey the Truck got to spend some time with my "muscle car". I'm posting several pictures. Each set goes down in horsepower, but up in speed.

The first will be the TB with my 1966 Mustang. This was the first car I ever owned. It's back in my possession now after being with another owner for almost 20 years. The other owner customized it some. It doesn't have door handles anymore. The doors use electric solenoids to open them. The 289 cubic inch HO V8 is gone too, replaced by a 302 from a Mustang GT. The car needs a lot of work and I'm just starting on it.

Next are pictures with my track car. It probably has less horsepower than the Mustang, but it is faster (so far - until the Mustang gets tuned better). It's my Honda S2000 (with 240 horsepower) that I race on road courses. It runs about a 14 flat at the dragstrip, but is more at home on twisty racetracks.

Finally, going down again in horsepower (but WAY up in speed), is my Suzuki GSX-R1000 sportbike. It has almost 180 horsepower, but weighs less than 400 pounds, so it is a rocket. It's scary fast. I've raced it too on roadcourse tracks. It would probably run in the 9's at the dragstrip. I need to get it out to the strip and find out.

I had fun with this travel bug and hope it travels far and wide.

Blue skies and happy caching!
