Esta geocoin foi outra aventura da loja de geocaching Orientate. Inicialmente produzida em metal, com três cores diferentes (amarelo, vermelho e azul), foi depois replicada em MDS, na primeira experiência desta loja com este material. A experiência resultou e de que maneira, uma vez que esta loja não voltou a apostar em metal, passando posteriormente a produzir todas as suas geocoins em MDS.

É uma geocoin com um tamanho fora do comum e é uma homenagem a um dos ícones da história automobilística: o Cord 812.

O Cord 812

O Cord 810, e mais tarde o Cord 812, era um automóvel de luxo produzido pela divisão Cord Automobile da Auburn Automobile Company em 1936 e 1937. Foi o primeiro carro americano projetado e construído com suspensão dianteira independente. Seguiu o Citroën Traction Avant 1934 e o Cord L-29, ambos com tração dianteira. Ambos os modelos foram também os primeiros a oferecer faróis ocultos.

This geocoin was another adventure of the Orientate geocaching shop. Initially produced in metal, with three different colors (yellow, red and blue), it was then replicated in MDS, in the first experience of this store with this material. The experience turned out and in what way, since this store did not return to bet on metal, passing later to produce all its geocoins in MDS.

It is a geocoin of an unusual size and is a tribute to one of the icons of the automotive history: the Cord 812.

The Cord 812

The Cord 810, and later Cord 812, was an luxury automobile produced by the Cord Automobile division of the Auburn Automobile Company in 1936 and 1937. It was the first American-designed and built front wheel drive car with independent front suspension. It followed the 1934 Citroën Traction Avant and the Cord L-29, both of which also had front wheel drive. Both models were also the first to offer hidden headlights.
