About This Item

This bug is a plastic "Tampa Gasparilla" coin attached to the tag with the usual chain. This bug started off on March 19, 2006, also our baby son Tristan's due date. The first stop was Davis, California, where Tristan's father grew up. It was supposed to beat us to Tristan's grandmother's and arrived ahead of schedule. Then it was spirited away to Australia. Now that it is headed back to the US we would like to send it back our way in Florida so we can see it again, by way of Davis, CA. Hopefully this time Grandma can catch it while it's still in Nothern CA.

Just to give some sense of timing for this bug, it looks like Tristan will be in Davis around Thanksgiving, so the bug has about two months to beat him there!
