Travel the United States and see places beyond the Missouri and Kansas of her life time travels.
Lucinda Elizabeth Stewart is my great great grandmother. She was born before the American Civil War, in Kentucky. She was still young when her family moved to Missouri. She married Charles W. Mikel, a descendant of Edward Boone, Daniels brother. They had three children and moved to Kansas, living nearby the family of Charles Ingalls. The story of the Ingalls family is told the book "Little House on the Prarie" by Laura Ingalls Wilder. While there Charles W. Mikel died and after his death she returned to Missouri. She married Ambrose Scholl, and had many more children. She was a pioneer, living on the edge of the United States. I dedicate this travel bug to her memory.
