Ich möchte diesen zu den Oster Inseln schicken da ich mit den Statuen eine Riesen Freude habe!

Hier ein kleiner Ausschnitt zu den Statuen!

Die weltbekannten, kolossalen Steinstatuen der Osterinsel werden Moai genannt. Pater Sebastian Englert nummerierte und katalogisierte 638 Statuen, das Archaeological Survey and Statue Projekt von 1969 bis 1976 ermittelte 887, vermutlich waren es jedoch ursprünglich über 1000.

Trotz umfangreicher Forschungen ist ihr eigentlicher Zweck und die genaue Zeit ihrer Errichtung unter den Experten immer noch umstritten. Man geht heute davon aus, dass sie berühmte Häuptlinge oder allseits verehrte Ahnen darstellen, die als Bindeglied zwischen diesseitiger und jenseitiger Welt fungierten.
