This bug likes to travel from site to site in a kid's pocket. It's owned by four brothers, ages 6-11 (at the time of release), who would like to see it passed along from kid to kid.
The boys hope this bug will pass through every state before being returned its native state, the Granite State.
We've decided not to attach a log book or anything to this bug, to make it easy for a kid to carry, and to improve its rate of travel (unencumbered bugs fit in more containers than bugs with a lot of baggage). So, when you move it along, please visit the GroundSpeak site and submit a log.
The boys would like to know:
- When, where, and by whom it was retrieved/placed
- Your likes and dislikes
- What you want to be when you grow up.
Our story:
The 4-yr old:
- likes: books, trash (but not to eat), Gameboy
- dislikes: his old baby stuff, big bird toys, pooh bear
- Wants to be a surfer when he grows up.
The 6-yr. old:
- likes: worms, scorpions, frogs, newts/salamanders, his pet Speedy (a leopard Gecko)
- dislikes: trash, picking up [toys], getting in trouble
- Wants to be a famous basketball player when he grows up.
The 9-yr. old:
- likes: animals (especially dogs), video games, sports (especially karate and basketball)
- dislikes: bees, bugs, little pests (of the two-legged, snot-nosed variety)
- Wants to be a zookeeper when he grows up.
The 11-yr. old:
- likes: science (fossils, astronomy, dinosaurs, gems), jets, video games
- dislikes: mean people, geography homework, little brothers that destroy his room
- Wants to be a jet pilot when he grows up.
