I maintain records on my trackables. They have the goal to circulate more than five years and to be moved by at least 25 cachers. That is a target rate of five drops per year for five years, or a drop every 73 days. The average drop rate of my trackables in the US is 124 days, in Europe it is 71 days. As of 9-Dec-23 this trackable had survived for 8.4 years and had been moved by 9 cachers, for an average drop every 341 days, or 1.1 drops per year. Please keep it moving, then drop it in a safe place!

No permission is needed to leave the U.S. While in the U.S., please drop it at an event, in a Premium Member only OR a rural cache near a busy trail or road. Do not place it in an urban, non-premium cache. Transport the bug in the original plastic bag for as long as the bag lasts; the bag keeps the trackable clean and dry, protects the number and prevents tangling with other items. Otherwise, take the trackable anywhere you wish.

This “Star” series of travel bugs is to bring attention to my favorite movie actors.  Some have awards, some do not.  There is no criterion to be included as a favorite beyond I will watch anything that has her/him in it.

Brad Pitt is an actor and producer known as much for his versatility as he is for his handsome face.  Pitt was born William Bradley Pitt in 1963, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, but was raised in Springfield, Missouri.  At Kickapoo High School, he was involved in sports, debating, student government and school musicals.  Pitt attended the University of Missouri, where he majored in journalism with a focus on advertising.  He left college two credits short of graduating to move to California.

Pitt's earliest credited roles were in television. Pitt gained widespread attention with a small part in Thelma & Louise (1991), in which he played a sexy criminal who romanced and conned Geena Davis. But Pitt's career hit an upswing with his casting in A River Runs Through It.

He has received two Best Actor Oscar nominations, for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Moneyball. My favorite Brad Pitt movies are A River Runs Through It (1992), Twelve Monkeys (1995), Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) and Moneyball (2011).
