I am the Land Navigation Pyramid traveler. The Pyramid was created by Tahosa, master of the map and compass. My goal is to visit back country caches that require a hike of at least one mile. Caches that require field map work or use of less common GPSr features like projections and UTMs are particularly attractive to me.
In November 2014 Denali41 and I took a trip to visit Tahosa and his family and we had a great time visiting and caching together in the Arizona mountains. Tahosa presented me with this framed map and travel bug at an event (GC5X6T2) he hosted in Chandler, AZ. I am honored that he did this for me. Thank you Joe!!!

It was wonderful to be at the Event when Tahosa and Sons presented this Land Navigation Pyramid Travel Tag to icezebra11, in recognition of his marvelous accomplishments using land navigation techniques to find some of the finest backcountry geocaches in the world. Thanks for showing me this superb travel tag, and congratulations on an honor well-earned, well-deserved!

This has to be the most memorable and enjoyable map I have ever made.
And the cacher that I made it for has to be one of the nicest cachers that I have ever traveled with.
Very few cachers even know the skills and tricks that are hidden in that map.
If one looks very very carefully they will notice that there are no Lamposts on this map.
Cache ON.
