Tavoitteena on kuljettaa travel bugia kohteesta toiseen mahdollisimman nopeasti. Niin kuin kotka konsanaan lentää paikasta toiseen. Toisena tavoitteena on, että kätköiltä liitetään valokuvia galleriaksi kotkan lentoreitille, josta voidaan seurata sen uljaita matkoja maailmalla.
Tavoitteena on, että lentomatkojen välillä Kotka lentää IV palaa ja piipahtaa kotipesällään Kotkassa Suomessa lähteäkseen uudelle lentomatkalle eri maihin ja maan osiin aina ulkomaille asti.

This Eagle has a mission. The aim is to carry travel bug from cache to another as quickly as possible. As an eagle could ever fly from place to place. The second target is that you will take photos near by the caches where the Eagle is flying.
The aim is that sometimes The Eagle IV stop by the home nest in Kotka, Finland, and then continue a journey to different countries and parts of the country up to foreign countries.
Kotkan pesästä lähtee useita uljaita kotkia kiertämään kätköjä eri maihin niin Suomessa kuin ulkomailla.
From the Eagle's nest leaves a lot of handsome eagles to travel several caches around the world.
