About This Item

This used to be a belt buckle from Tecumseh small engine corp. I used to have a small engine repair shop, & i used to do warrenty work on them. Briggs at the time had 50% of the world market,Tecumseh was second with 25%. I always thought they were an easier engine to work on. I was going through a lot of old stuff when i came across this,& decided it would make a good world traveler. As you can see (on the back) in those old days even buckles were made in the USA.

    Leaving this bus in a quiet cemetery cache. We don't have kids, so I didn't get a picture of it with kids. The picture I took was the bus on some rough terrain!

    I hope the next person who finds this little guy will take a bunch of pictures with kids and will get him closer to his destination of New York!

    I found this travelbug - but nowhere near California, which is the last location listed. It is no longer a belt buckle, either, but is instead a little yellow school bus. I will try to move it along soon.

    Been around a long time! Discovered just as MAB46 dropped it off in an ammo box near Calavera Lake in North San Diego, California.
