Sarah lived in Oklahoma and Texas. She had human relatives in Nebraska. Please let her travel to those states, and then travel wherever the wind (or you) takes her. She loved travelling. Feel free to add a dog tag to this bug.
I found Sarah on a bike path while I was riding with my coach. I made him carry her back to our cars. She was covered with fleas, and so was my coach. She was probably around three months old. After getting her cleaned up and vetted, I found a potential home for her. When I learned the person wanted to change her name to Sophie, the adoption didn’t go through. She was Sarah. Period. Sarah was probably part Australian Shepherd, which would explain why she tried to herd her sister dogs, Chelsea and Jenna, and people at an early age. Chelsea put Sarah in her place right away. Jenna just ran from her. This would lead to problems in later years as Jenna eventually got tired of running and stood her ground, which was the ground Sarah also claimed. Several big vet bills later, an uneasy truce was reached, but they never became friends. I nicknamed Sarah “Little Big Mouth Dog” because she was very vocal like Aussies tend to be. Another dog, Grover, was introduced into the mix after Chelsea went to the Rainbow Bridge; one that Sarah would grow old with. Sarah succumbed to symptons of SARDS, Sudden Acquired Retina Degeneration, at 13 ½. She left behind a devastated human mom and a brother dog, both who missed Little Big Mouth.
