To go on a cross-country adventure to Alaska to see the Northern Lights, mountains, glaciers, fishing villages, Denali National Park and so much more!
This shell was picked up on a beach in the Florida Keys near Key West, the southernmost point of the United States. I really enjoy the peaceful, and beautiful nature landscape of the Keys with its mangroves, and wildlife. (My favorite are the pelicans, who steal the fish from the fishermen on the bridge).
But, there is one state I have yet to absorb its beauty through my own eyes, Alaska. Please take me on a cross-country adventure so I can visit all the wonderful places between Key West, FL and of the northernmost state in the United States, Alaska.
In the log, please add a picture of something beautiful you see, or description of must-see place to see or do.

I picked up your travel bug from a caching friend in Juneau AK. We moved it north to the Veterans Memorial along the Glenn Hwy where it will likely find it's view of Northern Lights and perhaps even Denali on a clear day.
This was a great cache location for us as we are a Coast Guard family. The CG was the first of the military services to have a presence in Alaska.

Our family was given Alaska or Bust to take north. When searching for a drop cache, I found Some gave All. Besides being a medium box suitable for the trackable, we are a Coast Guard family so it seemed fitting to leave your bug here honoring our veterans and fellow service members while getting your travel bug along the Glenn Hwy where it can view the northern lights.

My geocaching friend and mentor shared this trackable with me as my family is headed to Denali in a few weeks! I am a brand new cacher but promise to do my best to find a cache as close to Denali as possible or along the Glenn Hwy for the best Northern Lights viewing!

It didn't go bust! I'm glad we were able to carry this TB from CA to AK and fulfill its goal. We left it on a great loop trail on top of Mt. Roberts. The tram and views are worth the trip. It should be an easy find for people to move this bug about the state.

Found this TB in one of the best TB hotels in the nation, according to Travel Bug Hotels of America (https://www.facebook.com/TBHoA). Next stop Alaska! Just where to go? Ketchikan? Juneau? Skagway? Anchorage? Or perhaps somewhere inland, towards Denali?
