This key ring was released by Chelsea, a leader of 1st Shawbury Guides with hopes to show the Guides it's journey throughout the next few years.
Mission Spectacular: GirlGuiding Shropshire, Celebrating 100 Years of Senior Section.
The Senior Section offers young women aged 14 to 25 the opportunity to develop their skills and abilities through a flexible and inspiring programme which offers a huge variety of challenges, activities and opportunities for personal development.
Whether they’re working towards their Queen’s Guide Award, travelling the world with GOLD (Guiding Overseas Linked with Development), running units for younger members or campaigning on issues that affect girls and young women, we are so proud of what members of The Senior Section achieve.
When asked how we should celebrate 100 years of The Senior Section, the resounding response from members was that it should be up to The Senior Section to decide. From choosing our spectacular name, to planning activities and events, this year is all about letting young women take the lead.
